Sonny Rogers

One of my dad's more colorful friends is Sonny Rogers. He is an old time hot rodder and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast over the years. He used to run the bike shows for Ray Farhner back in the 1960's.

Here is Sonny burning up the road on his chopper with the shot gun sissybar.

Here is an article from Chopper Magazine that David Mann wrote about Sonny. The gist of the article is that Sonny built this chopper in 3 years and it was so reliable it would run from Independence to Lexington, Missouri (a distance of about 30 miles). My how times change!
