I always enjoy the old time parade and they still throw candy to the kids (things are slow to change in "The Creek"). This year was a great day and we watched from the sidewalk of a duplex on Sterling. Just as the parade was about over, a man in the group next to us got a phone call that really upset him. He began shouting and crying very loudly. He kept screaming "No Tyler, NO!" He dropped the phone and his lawn chair and began laying on the ground pounding his fists and crying madly. I wasn't sure what was going on. Wesley was very upset and began crying also and we got our chairs and headed home. Wesley kept asking me throughout the day why the man was so upset. The only answer I had was that he had got a phone call with some bad news. Later in the day I got a call from Grandpa John that shed more light, "Did you hear about Buddy's wife and daughter?" he asked. He filled me in and I watched the news and learned what was going on. The man next to us at the Parade was a family member who was there to watch Buddy riding his scooter in the Parade. On the other end of the phone was Tyler Bronson, Buddy's stepson. The police came and got Buddy out of the Parade and told him he needed to go home. He shut off his Harley Topper and went back to Belton to a day that changed his life forever.

I had known who Buddy was in the car scene for years, but never really talked to him. His case made national news because of the status of the person that killed his wife and daughter. After a few months I friended him on Facebook and we exchanged posts.

Then in January of 2012 my mother committed suicide. It was a very bad scene and left me with many questions and mixed feelings on the whole subject. There were people at her memorial service who were fighting for their lives to battle cancer and other diseases and here my mother ended her own life in a final act of childish self centeredness. I felt sorry for people like Carol Whittle, who made it to the service and later passed from cancer that she fought to the bitter end, life is not fair.

Buddy was also at the Memorial for mom. I reached out to him and asked him if things like this made him angry? I wondered if he saw someone who was so unappreciative of life and casually threw away the future and made him wish his wife and daughter were given the same choice. He told me, "Jeremy, this is a crazy world and you can't figure out why things happen. It will drive you crazy trying to make sense of it. Just keep on going and living your life."

So I did, and we kept up on Facebook and in person at various events. I met him for lunch recently in the West Bottoms and we discussed my upcoming trip to Austin, Texas for the Lone Star Roundup. He was in good spirits and he assured me we would make it. He told me of a time where he decided not to drive his Studebaker to a car show in Salina, Kansas because it was far away and very hot. He was going down the highway in his late model daily driver and came upon a full-haired gentleman piloting his Caddy-powered '34 Ford down the highway with all the windows down. "There was John rolling down the highway in a car that you couldn't find a part for in a 200 mile radius with no air conditioning enjoying the day. If John doesn't give a shit then neither should we. I have driven one of my old cars to every show since," he said.

During the Lone Star Roundup we exchanged various messages as I told him of a Studebaker passing us on the highway (we were going 80) and how much fun we were having. Then his messages stopped. I didn't think much of it until the next morning when I saw everyone's comments on Facebook and how Buddy had been killed, just like his wife and daughter were, the night before. I was quite upset to learn this, but there was nothing I could do.

I went to the funeral and paid my respects. I enjoyed knowing Buddy, and will always remember him. I will also try to not spend so much time analyzing life. Sometimes you just need to get into your old car and go down the highway.
It took over 9 hours to photograph them all. Should be an interesting sale.

This sign is from the old drag strip in Kansas City. In the 1970s he found it wadded up in a ball in some brush near where the drag strip entrance was. He drove by there daily on his way to work at Chemagro (which is now Bayer). KCTA was the Kansas City Timing Association. He has some real gems from the area. Here is a link to his upcoming auction on April 14.
It was an interesting crowd of basically people like me who have a job, take care of their families and are concerned about their country.

Wesley asked me a few nights ago why I keep watching the news so much. I told him, "These are historic times that you and I will discuss a lot in years to come."

The shelves were empty and the gun cases almost bare. Kevin Jamison (a very brilliant man) spoke to the crowd and several groups were on hand with fliers on different legislative issues.

I was curious at the large presence of the Independence Police. Not sure what they were expecting to happen, Bass Pro was probably the safest place to be in town yesterday. They may have expected some anti-gun protestors, but I didn't see any.
It was located at 11th and Baltimore in what is now the Mark Twain Tower. I was too young to have ever gone to it, but my parents went a few times. According to my mother it was a very classy place and was quite formal. It was not a strip club or anything like that.

People who went there had keys for their accounts in the early days. Later they had metal credit type cards. I have two keys from KC. They were very hard to find, but I actually found two.

We are proud to announce we have received our official charter from the Mutter Chapter of the Arschlochs Car Club located in Frankfurt, Germany. The charter officially established the Independence, Missouri chapter of the Arschlochs on October 27, 2012.

The Mutter Chapter was founded in 1967 in Frankfurt, Germany. In 1969 the first US charter was granted to a chapter in Brownsville, Brooklyn New York. From there the club has expanded slowly over the past 45 plus years to include chapters in Detroit, Michigan, Oakland, California and most recently Independence, Missouri.

"We are glad to be part of the Arschlochs Car Club and have been prospecting for the past year. It was a challenging process with all the obstacles involved in proving yourself to the Mutter Chapter in Germany and those Brownsville bastards, but we made it," says Joe Boos, president of the Independence, Missouri chapter. Jeremy Povenmirehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06572364215010149316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450341456180271753.post-29216340011642767202012-08-02T17:43:00.000-07:002012-08-02T17:43:39.031-07:00There Are Still Good People in the World - in Des Moines, IowaOccasionally I hustle a few cars on eBay. I usually charge 10% to list and manage the sale. We have had some pretty wild stories over the years. There was the 1932 Ford Coupe that Grandpa John bought for $20,000 and we sold it for over $48,000. That was the closest I have ever come to him kissing me as an adult. When we found out he didn't have to pay taxes on it he cried (tears of joy).

There have been ups and downs with the economy so I have stopped listing stuff lately. Grandpa John turned up a 1963 LeMans recently that belonged to our friend Butch who died three years ago. I had seen the car when he was working on it, but had forgotten it was still in the garage of his widow Shirley.

So we agreed to sell it for Shirley. She had a local offer of $12,000 for it and I thought we could do better. Most people from KC are cheap (like us) and won't pay east coast or west coast prices. We wanted Shirley to get the most possible so we put it online.

It ended up selling for $16,900 to a man in Des Moines, Iowa. He came down to look at it and he was just the person we were looking for. He was the right age and had a nice vehicle and a Goodguys hat on. After a few years of doing this you learn to recognize the type of buyer you are looking for. If some is asking you if the air conditioner blows cold on an old car they are generally not the right person. That is a question for a late model used car purchase. Cold air conditioning is not a deciding factor on an antique car.

So the buyer came down after the auction ended and paid for the car. I kept $900 from the price and gave Shirley a discount on my usual commission. Butch was always nice to me since I was a kid and she is a good person. I went home and gave Grandpa John $100 and gave Abby $200 leaving me $600 for the Marlin 336 rifle I had been wanting.

A week later, as I was polishing my new stainless lever-action cowboy rifle, I got a call from Grandpa John. "You are never going to believe this. The man who bought the LeMans got it home and decided it was such a nice care he felt it was really worth $20,000. So he sent Shirley another $3,100 to make up the difference."

He was right, I couldn't believe it. That was like something out of a corny movie. I was really surprised. That is the first time that has ever happened in my 41 years of wheeling and dealing (Grandpa John made me bargain for my dinner as an infant. He claimed it built character).

So there are a few good people in the world. Not many, but one of them is in Des Moines, Iowa. I hope he enjoys the LeMans. It really is a nice old car. Butch would be happy to see it with the new owner.
It was on June 30 outside Irvine. I really enjoyed the show and the other 5 days we spent there riding around. After considering several options of riding our own bikes, hauling our bikes and just jumping on a Southwest flight we decided to fly out and rent some garbage wagons from Eagle Rider near LAX. It allowed us to see a lot more of California in our limited vacation days. I would recommend Eagle Rider to anyone that is going out there. They took good care of us and their bikes were well-maintained.

We were kind of timid when we rode away from the rental place into LA traffic. Traffic there is just as bad as everyone said it would be, however there were some things that I didn't expect.

People there generally look out for bikes. They are not offended by lane splitting and it is very common.

If you turn on your signal, people will usually let you over a lane or into traffic. Many cities I have ridden in (especially Dallas) see a turn signal as a sign of weakness. In LA people worked with you for the most part.

At the stoplights in Hollywood we rode right up front of the cars and took off ahead of everyone like in Europe.

The Born Free show kicked ass. It was just one day, but it was a fantastic show. It was well run and there were cool bikes everywhere. We saw some out of this world stuff including a twin engine Triumph, a water-cooled Knucklehead and choppers with knobby tires. I think the knobby style tire must be the latest trend in SoCal (which means it will be here in KC next year).

We got a couple thousand miles in riding all around and up the coast to Monterey. It was a beautiful ride with lots of curves and wonderful views.

We learned that Buck Owen's Crystal Palace is not open on Mondays. That was a big detour for nothing. Heck that was supposed to be a highlight of my trip. Actually the Crystal Palace was not the old-time country joint I expected. It was more of a Cracker Barrel kind of place so we just chalked it up to experience. I can now say I have walked the streets of Bakersfield when I sit and judge Dwight Yoakam (which is never because I love all his work).

It was a good trip for a 41 year old boring Midwestern guy like me. I got to see a lot of crazy things, especially in Hollywood. That place was so nuts we stayed an extra night there to see more.

By the last day Kyle and I were over our timidness and we flew through the LA traffic like pros, jumped over two gang bangers and did a big power slide back into the parking lot at Eagle Rider. It is a crazy place that I would not want to live in, but you can acclimate to it. I would say Los Angeles and Southern California is an acquired taste!
Todd created the Greaserama that renewed my interest in car shows again. That brought back an activity that me, Wesley, Abby and now Audrey enjoy doing together. The past several years the show has grown into a hugely successful event. Todd's legacy in the old car community will live on.

I have spent a lot of time in my life analyzing why bad things happen to good people and bad people roam the Earth freely to do as they please. I still don't have an answer to this age old question. Life can be cruel and often unfair.

Todd was a great man. We all thought a lot of him. This turn of events has been most unfortunate. You can listen to the NPR radio story about the Greaserama here.Jeremy Povenmirehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06572364215010149316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450341456180271753.post-54659168584400705312012-04-13T14:20:00.001-07:002012-04-13T14:20:15.353-07:00Viva Las Vegas Car Show and Mind Blowing WeekenderWe decided a few months ago to make the trip to Las Vegas for Nikki and Joe's wedding. For starters, I have known Nikki since I was born (her parents went to school with Grandpa John). Also, I have known Joe since before we could both drive and we are over 40 now. So with our recent sad family times, we decided to talk Grandpa John into tagging along and bringing my sister, Mindy. Abby was not a hard sell as she loves Las Vegas. The kids stayed at the Povenmire Compound with Grandma Susan and we headed to KCI. The wedding trip was combined with the Viva Las Vegas event and car show.

Needless to say it was a great time. We attended the "Elvis wedding", a kick ass car show, Circque Du Soleil show Viva Elvis (worth the trip itself), lots of drinking, some great Rockabilly music and general mayhem. The event drew people from all over Europe and America. The ages were very diverse also. There were Grandpa John aged guys that saw all this the first time around to people who were in their early 20s.

This event is definitely worth attending if you have any interest in hot rods, rockabilly music and greaser culture. It is like the Greaserama on steroids. Fun for everyone, including a bunch from Missouri.
It has occured to me that this is the equivilant of my 1976 for my son, Wesley. I have cherished all the old pics of Grandpa John and his colorful friends. I wish I had more.

So I have decided to just walk around a few places we go and take random photos. One place that always gives Wesley fond memories is the Punk Rods Clubhouse in the West Bottoms of KC. For him it is kind of like the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse gone bad. On our last visit we rode the bikes down to see Dave and Jesse. It was a fun day.

Remember, whatever you are doing with hot rods, kustoms, bikes etc., take lots of pictures. You won't regret it later.
We really appreciated all the show of support from old friends, new friends and family. She would have been happy to see the outpour of support we received.

Also many thanks to everyone who came and helped with the food and tables. That was much appreciated.

I called Dad this morning and he was very shocked to see all those people and feels lucky to have that many special people in his life.

I will now go back to work at the American Royal and Mindy will go back to selling chemicals. Dad is on his way to the Wichita swap meet to hock his wares this weekend. We will all try to resume some sort of normal life while still greiving for our loss.

Everyone was relieved that Grandpa John's stupid red Shovelhead came to life at the end of the evening. He rode a wheelie into the darkness with his unbaffled exhaust annoying everyone in Sugar Creek. He has been doing it for over 50 years...his tattoos have faded and his blond hair is now grey, but somethings will never change. Ha!Jeremy Povenmirehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06572364215010149316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450341456180271753.post-79374673084316985122012-01-27T18:40:00.000-08:002012-01-28T12:53:55.425-08:00Beth Povenmire Service DetailsThank you everyone for all of your kind words, thoughts and prayers. It has meant a lot to our family.

We will be having a celebration of my Mother's life on Wednesday, February 1st from 6-9PM at the VFW Sugar Creek Memorial Post 3976 at 12810 Kentucky Road, Sugar Creek, MO. You are welcome to join us in remembering Mom and enjoying some good food.

Because of her lifelong love of animals (and Grandpa John doesn't know what to do with flowers) we suggest donations be made in her honor to the Animals Best Friends Organization either by mail: PO Box 493, Independence, MO 64051 or by visiting their website http://www.animalsbestfriends.org/.

Thank you again to all our friends. It has been good to hear from everyone.
It was for the best at the end, she was in a great deal of pain. She was 66 years old.

She was around for most of all the fun times I write about on this blog. She was the silent presence in the background telling Grandpa John when to put on a clean shirt (without grease) and when to stop for gas on the chopper.

"I hated those stupid little gas tanks. We were always running out of gas because they were so small and your father was too cheap to buy much gas," she said several times.

She made all the home-cooked meals that Ed "Big Daddy" Roth ate in our kitchen (boy could he eat).

She was there when David Mann told their landlord off at the community swimming pool resulting in my parents subsequent eviction.

"Dave was the first person I ever heard use the F-word. I thought he was a horrible man. He really made the landlord angry. That plus your father was parking his chopper in the living room of our apartment so that didn't go over well either."

Good bye mom, I hope you have found peace.
He was one of the colorful characters that Grandpa John knew ever since I can remember. My earliest memories of him are from the mid 1970's and mainly his sedan delivery and all his red hair. I watched Grandpa John help Rex put a rear end under this delivery when I was a little kid.

I was relaying this to my friend Joe Boos one evening as we were looking at Rex's flamed paint job on my Super Glide. He said he remembered the sedan delivery too. "In fact," he said, "my brother Mike owned it for a while in the 1980s."

My next question was do you have any photos of it? Joe said he thought Mike did and would look around. Sure enough there were these two images. It was quite interesting for me to see a car that I hadn't seen in 35 years. I remembered it being a different shade of blue, but the eagle mural on the passenger side was just as I remembered. We discussed the other side and both thought it had some sort of woman holding a baby or something. Unfortunately the only photo we have is of the one side and back.

Mike Boos had found it behind a lowrider shop in Argentine area of KCK. How it ended up there would probably be another interesting story. Rex certainly lived life to the fullest. He told me he was "clinically dead" three times and the ER people brought him back to life. I don't doubt that he was telling the truth.
I decided to take him down to the Punk Rods clubhouse in the West Bottoms this afternoon. Eric is working on his Model A and needed to take some measurements off of Grandpa John's Cadillac powered coupe. Joe Boos tagged along.

We had a great time, riding mini-bikes, checking out everyone's projects and racing the remote control truck in their parking lot. We even met one of the local ladies who seemed in need of some sort of business transaction. She just asked me for a cigarette. I was glad I didn't have to explain her presence to Wesley!

It was good to see Eric, Dave, Jeff and the ever entertaining Cos. They remind me of Grandpa John's colorful friends from the 1970s. Check out their blog if you want to see what they are up to year around. http://lospunkrods.blogspot.com/
It was fun.

Some cool pics of Sonny Rogers' Shotgun bike and others. I interviewed Don Rooks, Sonny and Lisa Rogers, Jerry Pollock, John and Beth Povenmire and others.

Black Sam Barnes showed up at the David Mann Benefit at KCIR. Dad talked to him, but I didn't get a chance to ask him if he ever saw this article. He must have been a real character from Grandpa John's dealings with him.

Lots of colorful characters in KC!
It was Grandpa John's back in the 80's when I was in high school. I always loved this car and would like to have it back. If you know where it is please e-mail me from my profile page.

It was a 1965 Chevy Bel Air 2 door post with a 4 1/2 inch chopped top. It had "Orange Crush" painted on the front fenders when he owned it. It was a 6 cylinder with a Powerglide transmission. Another unusual feature was the louvered dash board.
They were in the Freedom of Road Riders Local 14 that held meetings there. Jesse Bryniarski and Dan Estes were closer to my age than the others and they both really loved to ride. It wasn't long before we started riding together beyond FORR Local 14 specific runs.

Dan always told the story about our first evening out running the bars. We all stopped for a checkpoint ahead and Jesse announced that he was putting his gun in the toolbox compartment under his seat. He asked Dan if he wanted to put his gun in there also. I piped up from the back and asked if I could put mine in there too. They both said that was the point in our relationship that they knew I was OK. I guess a short-haired guy with no tattoos was a little out of the ordinary for them, but from then on we were thick as thieves.

This was 1994 and I was riding my '69 Triumph and Dan had a Yamaha V-Max. Here we are in all our outlaw glory as young men!
Later he bought an old frame from Doug's Choppers in Avondale and eventually came up with an Ironhead Sportster motor and put the whole thing together. It was a rough one, hard to start and very tempermental. He rode it on the Toys for Tot's run in 1997 pictured here. I believe this first picture is Jesse laughing at him for all his kicking to get it to fire.

We all had a lot of fun together for several years and I eventually met my future wife Abby. We started having parties at the house and Dan became a regular at those too. Here he is with a woman whose name I can't remember at our annual Christmas party.

Dan and I continued to grow closer. He had lost his father several years before. He and his father were working on Dan's over the road truck and his father told Dan to go to the auto parts store to get some parts they needed. When he returned he discovered his father crushed under the truck as it has been left in neutral and rolled onto him while Dan was gone. He never forgave himself for that. It was something he struggled with the rest of his life.

He continued to live in his house in Lone Jack and kept riding and working like the rest of us. Then he met Jerry "Dresser" Fletcher at a few bike events. They hit it off and eventually Dan decided he wanted to try club life. He started as a comearound, then hangaround and eventually made Prospect for the Ar Lay Dah Vee Sohn Motorcycle Club. They were a dresser club that was around Kansas City since 1970. Jerry "Dresser" Fletcher was the President. They were allied with the El Forastero M/C and the Galloping Goose M/C.

Dan got rid of the Ironhead chopper and bought a Shovelhead Super Glide. Since the Ar Lays were a dresser club, he put saddlebags and a short windshield on it to conform to club rules. He started doing well and seemed to like it. Some people have negative experiences in a club, but Dan seemed to have a sense of belonging and family. I noticed a big difference in him. The older guys made him grow up a lot and he seemed to be more mature. It is hard to explain, but I thought it made him a better man.

Just as things seemed to be more stabilized in his life, he was speeding down 58 Highway in Cass County and flew (the cops estimated he was going well over 100 mph) around a corner where a man was in the process of turning left into a friend's driveway. It wasn't the truck driver's fault, Dan was hauling ass and came out of nowhere as the driver was turning. Unfortunately he also left himself no time to react. In fact, there were no skidmarks from his bike. He just hit the truck head on. It was not a pretty scene. That was June 22, 2001.

I got the call from Jesse's wife and heard the bad news. Dan was gone. It was a sad day for all of us.

His funeral was in Lee's Summit and was full of his club brothers, other club members, motorcycle friends, coworkers, other friends and family. He was buried with his club patch.

There were also about 4-5 young women who no one really knew that were visibly shaken and cried nonstop. Dan was a pretty successful ladies man, so I figured they were women we didn't know about.

After the funeral we all saddled up and headed down 50 highway. We took him to Lone Jack Cemetary where he is buried. A lot of tears where shed that day. I still think of him often, even now days.

As I get older I have realized that Dan got what many people want out of life, he got to be forever young.
You Can Get Anything You Want at Alice's Restaurant...I am a father now, so I am trying to carry on some fun family traditions. One of those is playing Alice's Restaurant every year at Thanksgiving. It was one of Grandpa John's favorite things to do (he loves Arlo Guthrie).

I know it doesn't make sense, Grandpa John hates hippies and everything they stand for. If he was in the crowd at Woodstock he would have been shouting for more Sha Na Na, but he always played this for us as kids every Thanksgiving.

It will be playing in the Grand Am as we head to Aunt Mindy's tomorrow. Hopefully one day Wesley and Audrey will also play for their children.

Of course after dinner we will be shooting our AK-47 and making fun of hippies. After all we are Povenmires!
This was about the bike shop owned by Jerry "Dresser" Fletcher and John "Shifty" Sheaffer.

Dresser and Shifty were real old-time motorcycle enthusiasts. Their bike shop was not for the faint of heart. I enjoyed the time I spent there and still have my t-shirt. They have both passed away.
More colorful characters from the Kansas City motorcycle community.
It was a fun time for both me and Abby. We got to travel around a lot and meet some interesting people.

Each month there was a section on Ladies Who Ride. For October of 2003, the lady featured was Abby. I forgot how good she looked in those pictures. Actually 8 years and two kids later she still looks great!

This article reinforces Grandpa John's famous words, "There are two kinds of people who ride motorcycles. People who have fallen over and people who are going to fall over." Luckily Abby got back up and kept on going.
It has been an interesting experience to say the least. One of the more colorful parts of my job was the Rodeo we had at Sprint Center. I was all over the place for sponsorship signage and fulfillment.

One of the places I was intrigued with most was behind the chutes interacting with the cowboys. These were not just guys with boots and hats that you see running around town. These were guys with black eyes, broken bones, taped up wounds and missing teeth. They were thrown every which way but loose (right turn Clyde) from various bucking broncs and nasty bulls. While standing behind the chutes with the Channel 41 News Crew, it reminded me of the part of Sonny Barger's book "Hell's Angel" where he talked about Bakersfield cowboys and Hells Angels in the old days.

"In the Bakersfield bars there was usually trouble between Hell's Angels and the Okies. Cowboys and bike riders have always clashed. Put them both in the room and there's always a fight. A lot of the cowboy types worked as oil riggers or ranchers, and a lot of them came out of the Oklahoma Dust Bowl thirties. Man, they liked to fight, and they were tough as hell too. In many ways, we were all the same animal, except the Bakersfield Okies drove trucks and rode horses. We Angels rode motorcycles."

I don't know how many Okies there were in the bunch, but there were some tough guys riding in the Rodeo.

"Like the Hell's Angels, Okies didn't call the cops when things got rough," Sonny says in the next paragraph.

I don't think any of the rodeo cowboys have 911 programmed in their cell phones...Jeremy Povenmirehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06572364215010149316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450341456180271753.post-37248482592500421112011-04-08T06:55:00.000-07:002011-04-08T06:57:49.985-07:00Scooter Trash - Carrying on a Family TraditionHad a father son bonding moment this week. I let Wesley operate the throttle and brake while we were riding the little red motorcycle. It took him a lap around Povenmire Raceway (around our house and garage) to get the hang of it, but he did great for 5 more laps. I think there is going to be more scooter trash in the family!

One thing is for sure, Grandpa John would have never let me operate the controls on any of our adventures while I was riding on the gas tank. These are good times indeed.Jeremy Povenmirehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06572364215010149316noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4450341456180271753.post-29695672215121312092011-03-19T12:48:00.000-07:002011-03-19T19:55:50.179-07:00Jack Larson - Larson MachineOver the years I have had several generations of engines in my Super Glide. The last version is by far the best. I took it apart myself and took all my parts to Jack Larson with Larson Machine in Belton, Missouri. He did a complete work over and built me a strong motor with 88 hp and 88 ft lbs of torque that functions great as a reliable daily driver. The Mikuni carb and Thunderheader complete the package.

I picked up the finished motor at his place and then reassembled the bike. For a guy like me it is a good feeling to know you have seen all the working parts of your motorcycle first hand. The only piece I haven't had apart at this point is the transmission.

I highly recommend dealing with Larson if you need/want any motorwork. He has been around a long time and knows what he is doing. He has been wrenching longer than I have been alive, and I will be 40 this May. Jack runs ads in Wide Open Magazine and operates out of his garage in Belton. He does work for many of the bike shops/dealers in the KC area.

Here is my paperwork (prices omitted).

Here is my dyno sheet from Worth North. The dyno process there was a fiasco. I will write more about that later. I have learned not to expect much from people who were working at Home Depot a few weeks ago...and when you go back they aren't there anymore.

Jeremy Povenmirehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06572364215010149316noreply@blogger.com
